An Easteregg?

So i spent some time checking out the new Missouri class and if you zoom in on the back bofors (the middle of the ship not the Very tip) you see the cook doing kung fu moves. does anyone know what this refrences?

oh its so random compared to 'Glowworm' on the turret of the german ship. lol

That would be Casey Ryback, the guy Steven Seagal played in Under Siege, which took place on the Missouri.

From the IMDB page:
"A former S.E.A.L., now cook, is the only person who can stop a gang of terrorists when they seize control of a U.S. Navy battleship."

If you look around further you'll also see a table on the Starboard side of the 2nd turret IIRC. That's where the Japanese Instrument of Surrender was signed to end WWII

i knew the movie ive seen it before, but i didnt know what ship it was on
