Here's a little tidbit I found while I just browsing the net for batlleships. Warspite, which was one of five Queen Elizabeth class battleships. Looking at the armor and other specs in the game, it appears to be right according to the game but doing some additional research I found out the QE class battleships were supposed to have been outfitted with (4) 21in submerged torpedo tubes. Now that would definitely give them some additional punch. It may even give them the extra edge to at least knock down a Tier VII or yet a Tier VIII. I was fortunate enough before I was able to take down a Tirpitz with my Arizona but that required some nifty dodging and numerous salvoes from her 14' in guns. If they continue the normal 3 tier spread they have in matchmaking Warspite with the torpedo tubes can deliver some nasty surprises with those.

In my first ranked battle I killed a Nagato in a one-on-one duel after already being set ablaze by his consort cruiser and being down half my health when he was at 85%. We got into secondary gun range and they did over 1.9k damage as we passed in opposite directions while my main guns hammered his ship. I was barely alive but was able to hit my damage control (it had just reset) and trigger my repair party. My team went on to win while he accused me of cheating.
The key is using what strengths the Warspite has, quick rudder shift to quickly angle or to turn to expose reloaded turrets, dodge torpedoes and with decent AA, help take down attacking squadrons harassing fellow teammates. The range with the Walrus spotting plane is over 18 km, good but not great when compared to a Fuso or a Nagato even. So don't try to snipe, close to mid range or brawl up close like a British bare knuckle boxer. The Warspite is a beefy English bulldog, not a French poodle, it is built to take hits and keep going.
I got accused of being a hacker..........
