New Recruit

Postby bigwull118 » Tue May 23, 2017 7:28 am

Hi, Guys,
my name is Willie, ..or Wullie..depending on wgwew you are, I,m in Brechin in Scotland, which is close to the foothills of the Grampian Mts, I,m 66 and a retired carpenter, my hobbies are my RC model warships...of which I have 4...and making working model naval cannons and Mountain Howitzers,..but my model warships are my main enjoyment, I have a Fleetscale 1.128 Bismarck, and a 1.128 Scharnhorst, and a 1.128 Hms Rodney, and a 1.24 scale Russian Tankboat....which started out as a German Fischcutter..type fishing boat..that was captuired by the Russians in the Baltic sea,and it was then armoured and had a T34/76 turret added to the fore deck and a twin barrelled machine gun mount added, amidships...its a weird looking model but does attract a lot of attention ...pics to follow,

Welcome Bigwull, looking forward to the model pictures. I used to do the Military Miniatures from Tamiya but was never much good at it so I'm always interested to see others who can do better :D

I've been doing 1/350th scale Tamiyas. I Have Yamato, Chikuma, Tone, Bismark, and Missouri. I'll post pics when I figure out how.... Where do you find the larger scales?
